So many people I'm talking to are presently at a crossroads in their lives.

These are the pivotal moments where we often grapple

with ourselves and our lives.. It's an uncomfortable space that can leave us feeling stuck or bewildered about our immediate situation. This period might even lead us to engage in intense self-reflection and confront difficult questions, often leading to feelings of discouragement.

During these watershed moments, it's crucial to avoid making hasty decisions,

but rather to allow the process to unfold with guidance from our Heavenly Father.

Consider Abraham's life. He had received a remarkable promise that he would become the father of nations. However, there was a catch in the story—they were attempting to become parents to just one child, but they were unable to conceive. Not only that, they had surpassed the age of childbearing. In the natural order, everything appeared contrary to what God had spoken over their lives.

The verse from Romans 4:3 in the Message Bible says it so powerfully:

"But the story we are given is a God-story, not an Abraham-story What we read in Scripture is Abraham entered into what God was doing for him, and that was his TURNING POINT"

This encapsulates a pivotal point. Abraham's turning point wasn't when he resolved things on his own but when he aligned with God's plan for him. He placed his trust in God to rectify the situation rather than relying solely on his own efforts.

Our turning point often comes when we understand that it's not about

our next promotion,

a different job,

a change in direction,

or altering relationships

or qualifications that will bring about the desired change.

The turning point emerges when we place our trust in God to accomplish what only He can.

This is the realization that our lives are part of a bigger story authored by God

and that our efforts,

no matter how hard we work

or how smart our plans,

cannot match what God has in store for us.

God's promises in our lives are far greater than what we can achieve on our own. To walk in them, we must align ourselves with God's plans by trusting Him.

Trusting God is what reconciles us with Him, not our efforts or hard work.

Your turning point arrives when

you shift your focus away from your weaknesses, failures, and limitations,

choosing instead to trust God

to bring life to dead situations

and to create something out of nothing with just a word.

It's when we stop to dwell in skepticism or hopelessness and, instead,

immerse ourselves in God's promises, assured that He will fulfill what He has pledged. That's when your turning point occurs!

Moreover, embracing and believing in Jesus and the path He paved for us on the cross is what aligns us rightly with God. It's a pure gift—one we can receive and embody each day.
